Galen Marek // Leia Organa
It was hard not to consider matters in that light. “One of the things we’re fortunate for.” Leia considered, with another thoughtful nod. She almost seemed reluctant to admit to it, though she smiled all the same. “Relative freedom-” Sure, they’d been taken, and were trapped in a small town, and there was a possibility she’d never see her world again, nor would anyone else, but at least they had at least a sense of free will?. “The opportunity to indulge in something like this.” They were all enjoyable things to be found in their existence there. Better she imagined for many, than what they had come from, perhaps that was true for Galen, given how it'd ended for him. She thought the better of voicing her enduring resentment toward being abducted, right now.
“Right. How hard could it be?” She echoed his words; truth indeed, she’d been faced with far worse than this, hadn’t she? Hadn’t most in their lives. Her brows furrowed as she studied the menu. “And I heard this world has a penchant toward gambling- so perhaps this is merely an extension of it.” She noted, snapping her menu closed. She’d chance it with the chicken dish, she recognised that much of it as an edible thing she liked to eat, at least.
