Crichton/Babs
"Yeah I think so, I mean Vegas right? The weather's gotta be better there than it is here." She reasoned, and that was enough for hear at this point - she didn't want to hang around and try and figure out a real way to deal with it like she was sure she could. Not when Vegas was right there.
She smiled easily when he told her that the doors kind of freaked him out. She didn't think it was that strange really to be a little bit wary about them. "I don't know, a house that can take you to some random location without any real explanation for it? It's kind of freaky if you ask me. I mean at least you kind of understand how some of that wormhole stuff works right?" She might not fully understand that, but John had a different background than she did and so it wasn't like it was something that was totally new for him - the door though? That was entirely unique to this place.
So she didn't blame him really.
"It won't be the Vegas you know." She told him, "Or even the one I know. There will be something about it that's a little different than what you're used to. But it'll be close enough." She nodded. "I don't really get it, but it happens sometimes, we end up in places that are kind of what we expect them to be while not being them at all." Another gift of the multiverse she supposed.
"I can open it for you," She offered, "You know, if you want. Then you just have to step through."
