Steve was focused on trying to chase down the clothes that had got away from them, somewhat ignorant of his audience until he made it back with what he'd retrieved. The water soaked pants made it more difficult to wade through the shallows, the wet clothes sending more trails down him until he could toss them into the grass. It wouldn't be polite to look too closely at her laundry after all.
He ran his hands over his hair and his beard, pushing water off of him before he stepped back onto the bank. That was when he noticed both the Tony's standing there and he smiled as he raised his hand in greeting. Because it was kind of hard to see Tony and not smile, see his Tony that was - well not his he didn't own him or anything like that- it was just the Tony from his universe- Tony that he knew, not the Tony that belonged to him.
Right.
"I think I got it all," Steve said as he turned back to glance at the river, hands on his hips as he surveyed it, not glimpsing anything floating around.
