"Hello kettle, you may call me pot." Nyx countered immediately. Sure he had pined for a princess he was never going to have. A princess that he died protecting. But Carol pined just as hard for lost true love. That was something Nyx didn't have to share. Now for what Nyx wanted? He wasn't even sure. He wasn't gunning to get married or have children, but even Nyx didn't know what exactly he was aiming for in romance. Madison was fun, but that was it's own bag of fucked up if you were to ask him. He eyed Carol for a moment before smirking. Carol was a different type of fun. One that he'd enjoy in a multitudes of ways.
Complicated was Nyx's middle name, and his constant. Though emotions, Nyx seemed to just lay it out. Unless your name was Carol, then why would he be honest like an adult. That's weird.
