"Anything can be dangerous in the wrong hands." Nyx commented coolly regarding that. In his life, he had seen so much conflict and violence. It was almost just a part of the life he had now. Well, had previously. As it stood, there wasn't much in the realm of that here. Everyone was mostly good. A little rough around the edges here and there, but inherently good.
"Yes. A fate I chose." Worth it, but followed by a laugh. "Yes, Starklandia is a name that is hard to get use to, but Tony didn't pick it." His laugh faded some. "But yes, I died before coming here." Here was relative at this point.
"Pretty much. I died watching the sunrise in Insomnia, on top of a mound of rubble, after killing my mentor - then woke up with a rush of air in the middle of the town square." Nyx shrugged some. "Some people have also died, but some just appeared her. No rhyme or reason. Just.." Nyx's hands signified his next statement. "Poof!" Then he shrugged. "To my understanding, most remember the moment. Some learn of it. I for one, knew that it was coming, and the kings of past don't make idle promises." Nyx knew deep down, he was indeed dead.
The pledge of remaining with him, until they both walked through the door in which they came through was welcome. Just as he wouldn't leave her behind, or even due in this place. Enough death was in his life to let another die while he was around. "You're in good company." Nyx commented. "I agree, we will leave this place together as we came together." The Glaive nodded to her in his promise.
Then the question of royalty, which caused Nyx to laugh lightly. "Gods no. I am just among men as you." Nyx smiled softly. "I was but a man, who wished to see the people of the world able to see a world with less violence and death. I asked the kings of past for their power, not for me, but for them." Nyx looked down at his feet some thinking about it. "They weighed my worth, and accepted my plea granting me their light and power."
