Leia/Luke
"It doesn't bear thinking about for too long. Does it?" Leia conceded with a heavy sort of sigh. "Has the potential to drive you a little mad. But, I guess all those parallel worlds theories aren't so impossible after all." Leia supposed every galaxy's scientists had posed the ideas, and now they were potentially living it.
"I know-" Leia was sympathetic, it was funny how much she'd hated all the etiquette and deportment lessons and what seemed dull galas or events. They didn't amount to much when the parties like this were staged, and weren't attended by planetary officials, and politicians or royalty - Leia knew the steps when it came to those sorts of conversations, she wasn't quite as adept here.
"I wish it hadn't been that way. I wasn't fair we were raised apart- even if I understand why." She said softly, like she'd said the night he told her the truth of their heritage, it was like something she'd always been missing had come back to her. She could only imagine if they'd gone to Alderaan together. "You know, you don't always have to have something to say- ask questions, get to know their world. There's so much about nearly everyone here that's foreign to us." She snorted softly, taking another sip. "Alcohol helps." She teased with a small laugh.
