Sparkles / Iron Deficiency Man
It was far too easy to say that to move on he just needed to do his best, be the best he could be and try to help whoever was left. Certainly, that benefited Thor and the people still left alive. At least, that was assuming those left alive would want his help. He had yet to face his surviving people and he was so ashamed he wasn't certain he ever could. Well, in this situation he was not certain he ever would. As much as he'd lost, they'd lost just as much if not more. And he was now their king? It did not set right with him.
"I found someone to focus my energy on," he said. Loki was a testy subject, he knew, but he didn't really intend to say his brother's name aloud anyway. Tony was smart enough, he could probably connect the dots even if he didn't realize the true nature of their relationship. It wasn't a secret that they lived together.
"But it is hard to move on, knowing what happened, what will still happen. It is hard to move forward when things from the past appear before you. I am certain Rogers told you of Mjolnir appearing. I do not know if you know, but Mjolnir was destroyed on Midgard not terribly long before I came to Wakanda. I was also given my brother's helmet here. Relics, reminders of my failures. I wish to move forward, but do not feel I have the right to take that step."
