Remus / Sirius
Remus had to stop caring. Or at least, he could care but not let it stop him from having what he wanted and being happy about it. For all they knew, this was their permanent reality. While he knew what had been going on back in his time, this was the time he was in now. The things that had happened in his timeline and were going to be going down in Sirius' very soon were entirely unfair. They were all too young to have been thrust into the war head first, barely even having been given the chance to live. This place, this gave him and Sirius the chance to live the life they deserved. How could he not take that as an opportunity and run with it?
Remus touched noses with him briefly after they kissed, then looked into his eyes again. "You don't have a tendency to disappoint, so I'm not too worried." He rested his hands on Sirius' shoulders and smirked a bit. "Come on then. Help me dance. You look good enough for the both of us so if I move ridiculously it won't show too much."
He'd never have the same sort of coordination as Sirius but that wasn't really the point. It was something they'd do together and have fun, the way they always did.
