Remus Lupin | Nebula
No, things weren't really all that simple. Remus had it, perhaps, a little bit easier in terms of having to adapt. While he lived mostly in the magical world, he was half Muggle. His parents had kept him shielded mostly within the world of wizards because that was safer, but his mother still taught him plenty about Muggle culture and occasionally took him to Muggle museums, libraries, and some other places just so he could try to learn. It'd happened much more often before he was bitten, but there had been a few times after when she'd take him places if his health was in good standing.
Having to adapt and learn about the differences, what he could and couldn't do, had been a way Remus had come to understand that not everything was as concrete as one might think it to be. The Wizarding world was so much more rigid in what was and wasn't allowed. Muggle society seemed more grey area than anything else, although there were some black and white rules. Some were very similar to Wizard life, some weren't. But being blended with the two worlds helped him sort of recognize that he needed to be open and listen to the people of this town to understand the differences between them all and learn new things.
He felt he could learn plenty from Nebula, too.
Remus wasn't exactly the shining example to look at when it came to dancing but he at least kept to the beat and moved around. "Do you like music, Miss Nebula?" He asked.
