Leia/Crichton
“Right. Not earth. Alderaan- which, has it’s similarities here and there, from what I’m learning- the climate, the greenery in some regards.” She noticed he seemed to take it in, rather than be bored by what she had to say of the Galaxy. “And most would say there are habits, traditions ..languages common to one’s homeworld, even if we have being human in common.”
Leia watched him still, and it was clear he was trying to figure things out, how their worlds might relate. “I’m not certain we have timeline in common. Or even our galaxy.” She thought on what indications she might be able to give him. “Earth’s never been mentioned, even in the earliest records of history, as far as I’ve been taught. The ..constellations are different too here-” She noted, with a brief, upward glance of sorts. “But- that could just as easily be one of the many quirks of Starklandia.” But she wondered about his time, what was his knowledge of Earth.
Technically. Leia was highly social - attending many events from early youth; not just galas or functions, but camps and gatherings relating to her education, her nobility and her career in politics. But - none of those things were dance parties like this. “I guess you could say that.” Leia conceded. “Events. Casual ones like this- aren’t my usual forte.” But her tone wasn’t scathing or snobbish, just ..unfamiliar. “What about yourself? Just a hazard of being a newcomer?”
