Gwen Stacy / Steve Rogers
Gwen could see that Tony deserved a lot more than what most probably gave him or gave him credit for. He hid it well; a smartass comment for most things or some sort of humorous quip that deflected what was really there. She was like that too, so she got it. Tony had been really good to her in so many ways. A mentor, a father, a friend. He was so good and he deserved all the love in the world. You just couldn't say something like that to him because he wouldn't know what to do with it. Neither would she. She got it. And the more people who loved Tony, the better. If Steve loved him, then good. He just better not hurt him. Or Gwen would take him out at the knee.
That said, having seen the way Steve looked at Tony most of the time, she didn't think that'd be a problem.
"We'll see about that," she said. "You've got the butt for it. I bet you'll be so in the groove by the time we're finished you'll be ecstatic to learn how to do it." She laughed, but was definitely serious. "Okay, show me how to do these old timey moves. I'll try not to kick your shins." Gwen placed her hand on his shoulder and held his other hand.
