Emo Soldier | The Fun Stark
It was kind of strange to hear that someone had faith in him, these days. As a young sergeant, he'd heard it plenty from the Howling Commandos. "Lead the way, sarge." and the like. He'd sort of lost that faith in himself in recent years but he was steadily getting better about that. It was just kind of a pleasant shock to his system to hear those words coming from someone who probably knew at least some of his history and was still blindly putting faith in him to be able to show him something. Granted, it was just a dance, but it seemed like he really wanted to do a good job so Bucky didn't want to let him down.
"Yeah, we'll get there," Bucky said, chuckling. "Once you get the feet, we'll throw in the arms. So it looks like you've got the basic step of front, together, back together. Now, you gotta kinda add some pizzazz to it. Try turning your feet out and in as you do the steps, like you're swiveling, kinda, and move a bit faster." Bucky showed him what he meant, turning his feet as he did the steps forward and back.
"Once you get the hang of that, you start moving your arms, back and forth. There's no real way to do it. You can do it side to side, over your head, whatever feels the most fun." He showed him that part, too. "And, if you start to feel really confident you can do it as a partner dance. You just gotta be careful so you don't kick each other's shins."
