Gamora gave a tiny shrug, a jerk of her shoulders really. It was what it was. Thanos had killed half of them, the rest hadn't stood a chance and now the people on the planet weren't her people because they were gone. That had helped fuel her, knowing not only had Thanos killed her family, but his ideology had wiped out her entire species. Then he'd killed her too.
It had been worth a shot, but apparently he wasn't like Peter, he was his own strange Terran thing. "Gamora," she said with a little nod as she considered his hand.
The story that came next was what spurred her to take it to shake, because his typical story was kind of familiar. "Yes, sounds about right," Gamora agreed. "Saving the world."
