Re: Miles Morales/Captain America
Steve skipped over the offer of showing him some modern moves. This had been done before by, no doubt, lesser men at said skill. Instead, he focused on Miles other issue. The waiting issue. He gave Miles a bit of an understanding nod. "I'm sure she's having a good time," he repeated, paused, and then added, "but who is to say she wouldn't have a great time if you asked her to dance?" Then he glanced at Miles with that quirked brow -- the kind that people who are older and wiser try to use to impart some sort of sneaky knowledge.
Still, he wasn't going to force the young man to ask her to dance. That wasn't Steve's style. "How long have you been waiting for eventually tonight?" he asked his gaze, once again, drifting to the blond girl. He hesitated for a second. "There was a girl I wanted to dance with once," he said, "on the day we brought down the Red Skull, I even asked her to a dance." His smile faltered. "I waited too long." He glanced at Miles and place a hand on his shoulder. "Take it from a man who waited too long to ask a girl to dance because she seemed to be pretty busy," he began, "it's always better to take the chance than wish you had taken it sooner."
He paused. Considered. "Tell you what," he began, "you go ask that young girl to dance and I'll let you teach me your best dance move."
