Re: Carol/Valkyrie
Valkyrie's eyes narrowed as she watched Carol. She knew what it was like to be late to the fight; she also knew what it was like to be kept from the fight, or to choose to ignore the fight. She had avoided a great deal, giving into the despair of so much loss. She'd been there for the fight to save reality, yet...
"Yes, Doctor Thirteen. She was nice. Said there was something to unpack, but I still do not understand how one unpacks a Space-Nazi dalek." She wasn't trying to be funny; she hadn't thought through the language as it might be used. She'd simply accepted the words as is.
"Big, not Lil' Tony?" Val nodded slightly. "Tony Stark, the mayor." Doctor Thirteen had already informed the warrior of Tony's claim to the 'throne.' From what she understood of the man, that was who he was. She also understood that he had grown beyond that. Of course, he had claimed the Gauntlet and made one of the grandest sweeping decisions ever. It had been a good one, a strong one. Possibly a little selfish, but Val could understand it.
"There's no need to meet him now." Perhaps if Carol knew her fate, Tony might as well. A party was not the time or place to meet the man.
