"Yes, my friend and I," That didn't feel quite right, but it was close enough for the time being. "We thought we'd just pop over to Paris, they have the best crepes you know." He explained. "But when we came to we were here and not there." He tutted shaking his head at the frustration of it all. "No amount of attempts have allowed either one of us to leave, it's quite the pickle you see." The sort of thing that shouldn't be possible, and yet here they were with the undeniable proof that it was and Aziraphale wasn't entirely certain what to do with this new knowledge.
He smiled when his new companion agreed that he could consider the party as one being thrown for his arrival and Aziraphale was only too happy to agree to that. "Wonderful, I do love a party. It's been some time since I've had the opportunity." Something about the end times made things like parties that much more difficult to pencil in.
"Nowhere?" And then Tony explained a little more, a pocket dimension outside time. "How fascinating." He wished he had his book shop, he was certain he had a tome that would tell him more about exactly this sort of thing, "And everyone here is like us? Plucked from their lives and deposited here for some reason?"
