Barbara | Crichton
Barbara shook her head when he said he was sorry, she knew what he meant and didn't bother trying to tell him not to apologize for it. "I'm better, that's all that really matters." Sure it could be taken from her if something happened to the chip, but she wasn't going to introduce that sort of thinking into her mind. She'd worried about that enough already. "We actually had to travel out of the country for the surgery." She told him. "It was experimental, but I think I'm a pretty ringing endorsement for it's efficacy."
"Especially in Gotham," She agreed with a small laugh, "They go to jail for a while, and then sometimes they break out other times there are reasons for their release, it's all kind of a mess." But she wasn't involved in that part of things and really they could talk for the rest of the night about the mess that was Gotham's judicial system and the issues therein.
She laughed when he brought them back around to the topic of the night. "Well maybe I'm just looking for a little bit of company out there?" She suggested, she'd been enjoying their conversation and she'd probably enjoy dancing with him just as much. And you know if she wasn't going to get to play wall flower than neither was he.
