Re: Valkyrie | The Doctor
“It makes them,” Valkyrie watched the dancers a little longer. The bright smile of her greeter didn’t go unnoticed. She’d seen people smile in so many ways over her long years; this one was genuine as far as she could tell. It didn’t hold maliciousness, but even she could be fooled, bested. Her attention was pulled back to the woman, the bright smiling woman. It could have been infectious had Val been in the mood for smiling, and the woman hadn’t asked the question.
“Definitely better than gladiatorial combat,” Her voice steady, set. She didnt think there was much worse; of course, she wasn’t going to share what was, say like being the provider/procurer of gladiators at the ascend of the universe. Her brows furrowed, and she took a breath, putting that train of thought to the side.
“Different universe. No way home?” The Bridge was gone, so that was out. She wasn’t answering the species question, not yet. Asgardians weren’t always liked after all.
“Mayor.” Her head tilted slightly, just a momentary catch. The only “Tony” she had known was gone. “Perhaps he was born into it?” That wasn’t how it was done if she’d understood politics correctly.
