Well Bill might not be wrong about that. It was very easy to shift and change who he was if it suited him, and sometimes what suited him was being what someone else wanted him to be. If it meant finding a place then why not? Bill seemed to see right through him though and it left Klaus unable to respond because what was there to say about that?
Klaus wasn't certain he believed that, after all this was what he did, communed with the dead, brought forth spirits. And there weren't any spirits here, but then there had been Ben? Sure that was to do with him, and he only had access to his powers when he was sober. Of course he'd done it. "No that is -" He shook his head, strong was one thing that Klaus had never been. "My father will tell you, of all of my siblings I am the last that would be pegged as strong. Not like Luther who obviously had strength for him, or Alison who moved through the world like she wasn't traumatized the way the rest of them were, or Diego who preferred violence to words, even Five and Ben were stronger than he was. His father wasn't right about many things but in that they could both agree.
He just wanted to be good enough to get them back. They'd been scattered to the wind for so long, lost and hurting and they'd finally come together only to end up ripped apart once more. And Klaus was certain he was the key to getting them back.
Bill was sweet though, offering to help him fly. "Never really been good with flying." He admitted with a soft laugh, "But maybe you'll show me sometime?"
