WHO: Weiss and Shuri
WHAT: Training

Weiss needed to do something to help herself relax, because her chances of figuring this place out went way down if she got too stressed. She wouldn't be able to think with a level head and for her that never ended well. For her the best way to clear her mind and think more clearly was to do some training and of course that had an added benefit as well. Keeping her skills sharp was always a must and in this place she might wind up needing them. So, she found herself a spot near the back of the courtyard, pulled out her sword. She took a deep breath, focusing her thoughts the way she had been trained. Within moments, several different glyphs appeared in the air around her; as she focused her mind she felt her body tensing, ready for what was to come. She moved through the air, propelling herself from one glyph to another with what seemed like the greatest of ease. For her this was as simple as breathing and more importantly it had always been something that she enjoyed so very much.

The only things that she could think of that she enjoyed more was being with her friends and singing, and one of those wasn't even a possibility at the moment. After a few moments of focusing on her glyphs Weiss, relaxed and lowered her sword. She had brought herself a container of water, so she made her way over to her stuff and pulled it out. After a few sips, she took another deep breath, returned the bottle to the bag and made her way back to where she had been standing before.

Her sword raised, she focused her mind once again preparing for round two.

Shuri had taken to running laps of the village in order to stay semi fit. She wasn't the fittest, far from it, but she was able to hold her own. Sure a lot of that came from her technology and her skills with it but it wouldn't do to become unfit. In this place though she could easily become unfit with how little there was to do. She didn't want to do that, she was a teenage girl of course she was vain about her appearance. It came with the age and gender.

She had turned the corner to find someone out training, which in itself wasn't unusual, she just hadn't seen this person before. Well training, she probably had seen her around it was a small town though she couldn't place her. "Hi!" she called running up to them after a moment. "I saw what you did with the things in the air, it looked really cool. How are you doing it?" she asked curiously.

When the other young woman approached her Weiss let out a sigh of relaxation and lowered her sword. With a smile on her face she took a step forward. "It's my semblance" she answered, but then she remembered that not everyone here would know what they meant. "It's an ability I was born with" she continued, amending her description of her power to something the other person would know. "But the aerial movements and the sword work comes from years of training" she added. She certainly had worked hard all her life to hone those skills.

"My name is Weiss Schnee" and with that she extended her hand for the other woman to take. She wanted to get know as many people as she could here in the hopes that a team effort could lead them all home someday, or at the very least find out why they are here in the first place.

"A pleasure," she said taking the hand. "I'm Shuri. I haven't been here that long so it's great to meet more people," she said with a bright smile.

Shuri didn't recognise the first word so she was glad that she went on to explain that it was an ability that she was born with. Still that was a bummer it would have been amazing to learn how to do it. Maybe she could invent something that did something similar? That would be an interesting challenge. "That is amazing, I would love how to learn something like that," she admitted. "I have always been impressed by that sort of thing."

"The pleasure is all mine, I assure you" she answered back with a similar bright smile on her own face. "Having more friends in a place like this seems like a pretty good idea to me as well" she added.

"Well I could teach you the required sword skills and aerial movements and with the aid of dust I could perhaps help you discover if you have a semblance of your own". She had seen enough to know that people from other worlds could have a semblance or a different type of power. Or perhaps she could be like Ironwood and invent something to aid her in combat.

"Friends are great so yes," Shuri said with a grin.

"That sounds amazing. I would absolutely love that," she admitted with a bright grin on her face. If she didn't she could always invent something that would assist her. It wouldn't be the first time that she had done something like that and it probably wouldn't be the last either. She lived to invent things especially things that challenged her as this surely would do so.

"They are indeed, and in a place like this it seems prudent to have as many as possible" she answered honestly. Sure this place didn't seem dangerous right off the bat, but she was sure that could change in an instant.

"Wonderful. Then that is what we will do" she continued on, more than willing to teach this fellow woman anything she could. Weiss was all about empowering others these days. "When would you like to begin?" she asked, clearly as eager to teach as the other was to learn.
