"Yeah," She agreed of Claire, "At least she'll have some idea of how we could best make use of this here." Because Kitty saw a larger picture of course, but something they could incorporate into their day to day was a little harder for her to see and that was the sort of thing that she thought Claire might have a few ideas - or at least she hoped she might.
If nothing else they'd talk to Tony about it. "Stop it, this Tony is doing his best. He's not the man we knew." And even she was having second thoughts about the Tony they knew, knowing a guy had been effectively dead tended to change the way you looked at him, even when he had done pretty heinous things. But he wasn't here, they didn't have to think about him - just the one they had to deal with - and he seemed like a good man. Better than a lot of them she'd known in her time.
But she wasn't here to defend Tony Stark.
What she was here for was waiting for John to tell her she was an idiot for bringing up something like that when they'd just had a fairly explosive fight just days earlier. What had she been thinking suggesting they live together. But before she could work herself up to much over it, John was closing the space between them and pulling her into a heated kiss, startling her out of her overworked mind and let her relax against him before he was telling her to shut up.
"Oh," She breathed, biting at her lower lip and leaning into him a little when he told her that was what he'd meant by asking in the first place. "I mean I don't want to push you - we don't have to do anything about it just yet." She said still wanting to be sure she wasn't pushing him into something he didn't really want. "I haven't even talked to Claire yet."
