Okay, as annoyed as Madison was by some of it, she had to admit that Tony was at least a nice guy. He wasn't even letting her take advantage of him, let alone trying to press her. It was a little strange. Maybe she just hadn't met a guy like that in a long time. "Sure. I will."
She didn't like feeling young. Madison had essentially acted like an adult since she was 15, maybe younger. She had been responsible for providing for her family, and she'd been the one who had to watch out for herself for most of her life But, he was right. It probably didn't really count. "Yeah, whatever." She brushed it off as she did most things, pulling herself out of the tuba and walking towards her clothes.
With a wave of her hand, her body and underwear were dry and she picked up the dress, sliding it back on and casting him a look and even a small smile. "Hate to cut this short, but I should probably get back to finding something to do around here. Thanks for the drinks, though." She zipped up her dress and turned to him, still smiling.
"You know, for a geek and a goody-two-shoes, you're not that bad."
