Tony said, because sure he'd seen hell - they'd had portals open up on campus, Mephisto tried taking over, it was a whole thing, but they'd handled it - and no one had their heads explode or whatever. "Lucky for you though, we're fresh out of hell and gods and satan in this place. Well except for Thor and Loki, but I don't think they really match your criteria for the big G god."
It was obvious looking at her that she had seen something real and awful and well, Tony was not very good with real and awful, at least not from strangers, so if DUM-E needed to get her another drink then Tony thought that was just fine just as long as he didn't have to try and comfort her and her trauma.
"Well they have written books about us." Tony allowed because that convention had shown him plenty of that sort of thing and he was never going to get over how amazing that had been. "Well yeah, I mean it's what we do - save people, keep bad guys from taking over the planet, save the world. You know, hero stuff."
