"A special coffee cup, eh?" He asked with a fond smile on his face. It was just.. so incredibly endearing that Clint would even think about something like that. That he wanted Bucky to have a cup he'd always use when he was there, that it had its own special place in Clint's cabinet and in his heart. It made him feel even more confident in what he wanted to give to him, and in that thought he had earlier. They'd not really talked in great length about official things concerning their relationship. They'd just gone with it and it was wonderful and amazing. Bucky wasn't intending to sit down and have a heavy conversation. He just thought maybe it could come up naturally. He'd see.
"That's certainly my motto these days," he bantered in inuendo as he took the cup and examined it. That Clint had that reminded him of when they first really hung out at that convention and he was hellbent on getting as much Hawkeye merch as he could find. That of course led to the Mervengers and the Centaur Soldier fanart that still haunted Bucky a little bit whenever he saw it, though in a humorous way.
He leaned in and kissed his cheek. "I love it. And I have something for you, too." He set the cup down for now. "It's not as cool as getting an apartment, but I got something too that I haven't seen in a long time. But I want you to have it. You don't have to wear it or do anything with it, I just want you to keep it for as long as you want to." Bucky reached around his neck and pulled a small chain over his head. He held it out for Clint. Attached to the silver chain was a pair of army dog tags that had all of his information on it. "It was considered pretty swell for a fella to give these to his sweetheart back in my day."
