Admittedly, Bucky was pretty curious about the apartment that Clint had been talking about when he said it just sort of appeared in his house. He wanted to see what sort of dwellings Clint had from back in his world. It'd give him a little more insight into his boyfriend, he thought, to see how he liked to keep his home -- not whether or not it was clean or messy, but what made him comfortable. What was his couch like? How did he like arranging his things? What did he keep in his refrigerator? These were all things Bucky wanted to know about him, because while he could kind of see it where they were now, it was different because they were so limited on what they could do to make these houses personal to them.
Smiling, he started for the steps. "Kids today, no respect for their vintage elders," he said, good naturedly. "Making an old man go up the steps." To completely contradict his teasing, Bucky took the stairs two at a time mostly out of excitement but also because he just could. Once there, it was like stepping into a completely different place. He immediately wanted to be shown everything down to the tiniest dust mite simply because it was Clint's apartment but first things first. He went right to Clint and pulled him into a pretty amazing 'hello, I missed you' kiss.
