One of the things that Bucky had been kind of unsure about was if he could ever just swing by to say hi to Steve or ask if he wanted to let their Pokemon run around together, or if he wanted to go for a run sometime -- just something. They were all still sort of navigating through all these relationship transitions and it seemed like they were all in a better place. But Bucky didn't really know if there were unspoken boundaries that still needed to be in play or if they could just do whatever and it wouldn't be weird. Like he didn't want to just show up and Steve not be there and it be weird for Tony.
Hopefully they were creeping toward a point where it wouldn't be. Bucky could say hi, they could shoot the shit for a minute and he could come back later and it wouldn't be so awkward.
It was still awkward now, so Bucky was going to take his leave before they kind of erased what they'd just managed to achieve. "Sure. You too, I mean, if you ever want to watch Dog Cops I'm sure Clint would be ecstatic to get someone else hooked on it." He stood up. "See you around." He almost said to tell Steve he said hello, but he refrained only because he kind of wanted to make a point that it wasn't about Steve or making things easier for him. It was that Bucky wanted to mend what was there between him and Tony, separately. Another nod, and he saw himself out.
