It was a relief to him to have put his history with Steve to rest in a way that allowed them to move on in their own light, but still side by side in a way that kept them close. Tony was a part of Steve's life now, in a big way. Steve had told him flat out that he was in love with Tony. That meant, by default Tony was going to be someone important to Bucky, too. They weren't best friends, but he'd have Stark's back now if the need came for it. With the past where it belonged it meant they could focus on their present. Right now, he wanted to focus on mending whatever he could with Tony. He didn't expect a miracle, but they'd already proven they could get along while supervised. Now, they were going to hopefully prove they could do the same without their significant others in the room.
Bucky was glad that Tony understood what he meant and that he hadn't sounded stupid or crazy in the way he described the bionic arms he'd worn. "She is," he agreed, about Shuri. He'd developed a good relationship with her, and she'd always been very kind to him while maintaining her knack for sass and spunk. "Oh, yeah," he said, when Tony brought the conversation back to the task at hand. It was a little harder to do it one handed, but he'd gotten pretty good at doing things one handed when he was living in Wakanda so it only took a little extra effort to get his shirt up over his head and off. Bucky didn't make a lot of small talk, but he didn't think Tony would mind that.
"Steve's okay, then? Back to normal? I know he'd say he's fine even if he wasn't, but you'd know," he said.
