John stepped back more. He felt if he was close to her, he would be able to keep the fury up like he had been. It was all he had to keep him going forward. Keep him from feeling whatever he was feeling. John shook his head at her. No. She wasn't going to pull him in to this one. He was fucking Pyro. He was strong, and she wasn't going to best him.
The apology rang out in his ears as she was trying to defend herself. Or at least explain her actions. John wanted to listen to her, but John also wanted to be angry.
"Idiot?!" John was floored. "You realize who you're talking to?!" Pinching the bridge of his nose, he was pretty much a king of doing stupid things, and she was fearing judgement from him. JUDGEMENT from the villain who was always judged. Ridiculous.
"THE DETAILS AREN'T IMPORTANT!" Which was true. John didn't care about the details, or the nitty gritty. It was what it was, and if he judged her for every little thing, well, she had a longer laundry list of his terrible actions, and to be fair- they were standing in the middle of one of his poor decisions. "I don't care about the why.." John finally choked on his words. "The what isn't the problem, Kitty..." He said finally using her name. "It's the you didn't..." He shook his head. She was so close to him at this point it was painful.
