"That would have been really embarrassing for all the computer engineers of the world." She agreed with a laugh, but that had been fine and things continued to be fine as far as computers went - well mostly. As long as you didn't look too closely at what they were being used to do now.
She imagined that this whole kind of thing was probably not most people's expertise, there were only a few of them who could really get into the whole nuts and bolts of it all, and Barbara might be smart but she knew herself well enough to know that she was not one of those people.
"Space travel though," She said raising her eyebrows at that, "That's pretty cool." You know if you sort of overlooked the rest of his story and just focused on that one bit. "I always thought I'd be lucky to make it out of Gotham, if I'm being honest, and now here I am. In some other dimension." She huffed as she shrugged, it was a sad strange state of affairs, both the life she'd left as well as what she was doing now.
"I know what you mean," She agreed, "I kind of started helping out here by accident." She admitted, it was weird and not what she had thought she'd do with herself but a library had been a good idea and it gave her something to do. "People just kind of seem to be finding things to keep themselves busy, sometimes that's helping out in a big way, other times it's something smaller."
