"Hi, Shuri." Danny replied with a genuine smile. He felt good, in truth. He always felt more centered when going through the motions, and chasing that calm was part of why he had become as intent upon training as he had. He reached out his hand to help her to her feet, and then carefully spread his own legs apart.
"See this stance?" He asked. "You'll want to mimic it. Let your knees relax, don't lock them - you can actually pass out if you do. Now, what you want to do is move with your own breath, feel each muscle, each motion." He spread his arm in a slow sweeping motion, palm held flat as he did. "It should feel good. Don't worry if it's a bit clumsy at first, I was terrible when I got started."
He drew in a slow, deep breath. "I'm new here, too. Don't really know anyone yet. Or anything." He grinned as he looked at her sideways. "Carol was the one who showed me around. Did you know her cat is hiding tentacles? Crazy, isn't it?"
