The upside to all of this, yes, was that the two of them could stop arguing and being so strained and get back to something more normal. Which was good, really good. Hopefully next month they could go about their business as usual, heading out through the doors to either avoid the full moon, or deal with it in a place that wasn't full of their neighbors and friends.
Well. Sirius might have had some apologizing to do, he'd gotten rather snappish and growly with some people. But those people had deserved it, so he didn't feel too particularly bad about it.

Sirius made a point of scavenging some from every place he went even if they weren't in need of it. He shuffled forward until they were more tangled in each other, his knees pressing up against Remus'.
