It wasn't the only reason why Tony had finished it -- hell, it wasn't even the top reason. He'd finished it because he'd promised Remus he would. And because he couldn't see anyone getting hurt. He really, really couldn't see Steve getting hurt. Not if he could have prevented it.
It wasn't like he didn't know that Steve was, and always had been that guy - the one who jumped into a fight fists ready even when there was no chance of winning. He'd just -- sort of hoped that Steve would, for once, trust that he had it, that Tony would take care of it and didn't need the help.
Tony was -- well. Yeah, angry maybe. But mostly he was just tired and sad for the whole situation. That didnt stop him frowning at Steve when he seemed done with all his current missions of helping out. "The next time you try standing in front of me when there's a fight going on, Rogers, I want you to remember this night really well."
