What happened when you put two naturally self reliant people together in a relationship? Well, this evidentially. A team that looked out for the other. Who knew that it would actually work out. "I thought you'd like that. You deserve to pamper yourself a bit." John muttered softly.
"Well, get that fine ass off to the bath then." Pyro smirked raising his brows at her. "Before I decide to keep you in bed for other reasons than being ill." Which he had half a mind to do such.
Truly all Pyro wanted was to get their lives back in the direction of what they had been working towards. Sure, they seemed committed to each other, and might not have been the most serious yet, in theory, but John was already heads over heels for her, and imagined no one else at this point. Sure the fuck no one that was in this place.
"We shouldn't talk about that right now anyway." John shook his head. This conversation Pyro feared would cause a fight between them. Sure ultimately he did what was right, but he still mostly believed Xavier's methods were too soft. Not having this issue to deal with, made John believe it allowed them to focus on each other than on politics of mutant rights. "We should just focus on the fact we're alive, we're getting to be together, and we have a stellar breakfast to eat." His eyes trailed up and down her. "And you gotta get all wet and naked too."
