Yes, John knew Kitty quite intimately at this point, and that was why John felt the safety of being able to joke about all of this. They were safe, and that was good. But now he had to figure out how to get all the data on himself back from Stark now that no one was dying. Deep down, there was this feeling where he thought it would be used for not so good things... like controlling what mutants there were. Even Pyro knew that thinking was purely speculation and he had no reason to believe that Tony would do such things. None of that mattered though, in this moment. What mattered was him and her in this moment now and the fact that the pair of them were going to be fine.
The way this day was starting, was as good as it could have been. Feeling better, feeling like themselves, and with each other. Returning the kiss he winked to her when she confirmed that he was the cutest. It was nice being justified in his own thinking from time to time. "Speaking of cooking." John twisted sat up on his knees looking to her. "Why don't I cook you breakfast." Slowly he shimmied out of the bed to search for his pajama pants he had discarded somewhere. "I'll cook breakfast, you can get cleaned up and take a bath or something." Turning towards her, he smiled. "And by the time you're done, breakfast will be finished."
Okay, so he could have done a number of things this morning, but one of the things Pyro had figured out about himself, was he loved providing for Kitty. Not that he needed to, but he liked to. Cooking her a meal. Bringing her a drink. Just simple things, to make things a little more pleasant for her while here. "That's what I believe." Pyro confirmed her statements about being a mutant with powers and those powers were just as much her as the next person without. "That was what I fought for ultimately." Well they both did, in very different ways. "We mutants should not be second class citizens." He shook his head. "Especially someone as good as you, should be respected."
