Kitty laughed at his revisionist retelling of what had happened. "I suppose it was me that told Stark he could take all of my blood to save you then?" She teased him, as he stretched out, basking in the pure relief that came from knowing that all of this was going to turn out all right. Kitty had been prepared for some less than good outcomes from everything, fearing that maybe he'd been right about Legacy, or that maybe it was something similar that was going to do some permanent damage to them.
But they were fine, Pyro was smiling and laughing and she felt back to her old self once more, relaxed and at ease as they had their morning in together. "Well it sounds like I was very lucky to have you here with me to make sure we both made it out to the other side."
She sat up then, ready to go back out and face the world again a new and fully tangible human once more.
"I forgot what it was like," She admitted after a moment, "living without being able to use my powers." Sure she'd worn the collar for a short time but that had been something else. And certainly this wasn't truly living life without her powers, this was having them and not being able to control them. But it was similar in some ways. She took them for granted so much of the time, not just as a means to save herself and others, or to fight, but simply in the process of living her life.
