There was something about Steve that said he was a soldier even out of uniform. It was something about how he held himself, how they all did, tired yet with the weight of the world on their shoulders, that somehow didn't waver. But you could sense it in other people, Steve could see this wasn't a civilian and that was a good sign.
"No good news on that front either," Steve said with a little smile. "It's got a few names but it just kind of is," he said and it wasn't much of an explanation. But that was the thing about it, there just wasn't one.
"I'm Steve Rogers," he said as he stepped a little closer and held out his hand. "And everyone here sort of turned up in the same way. We were somewhere else and now we're here. Some people know each other, some people don't. Seems to be kind of random in that regard."
