"Women know when you're checking us out, just so you know," Claire said with a snort of a laugh. They were flirting, had been since they met and it was harmless, Claire enjoyed his company, hell he'd given her somewhere to stay and he hadn't got rid of her yet. Besides he'd caught his death and it was her job to take care of him and keep him in good spirits. Maybe that was the joy of being a bit older, not worrying so much about things like that, or losing sleep over being liked. Besides she was still mostly sure that this place was some awful nightmare.
Everyone needed an outlet and sitting there she knew they'd both been giving as much as they could. But you couldn't pour from an empty cup so a little time spent having a laugh would be good for them.
Peter didn't ask her to move in in so many words, but that's what he implied and Claire turned to smile into her knees. "A door? My god we're getting serious," she exclaimed. "I'd like that, the bed and the door, somewhere to walk around naked."
