Peter huffed a little and nodded, "Yeah - one at a time were bad enough, but get a bunch of us together all at once." He made a face and shook his head. Yeah he could absolutely understand the nightmare comment - even if she might have been teasing. Peter knew what it could be like, as one that often worked on his own, he saw how well they worked together at times. And to have them all sick like this? Well she was probably right, they really were all going to die.
Peter pressed his other hand to his chest in mock surprise when she told him she'd rename the town for him. "That is the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a long time."
Even with his vision more blurred than was truly comfortable, Peter didn't miss her hand on his - not that he needed to see to know it was there. But still it was something that he took notice of, that and the way she cleared her throat and well - Peter wished he could see her face more clearly to know her expression exactly in that moment. "I for one, am glad to know the town will be in such capable hands when I'm gone."
