He didn't bat an eye at her order and ordered the same thing, except he added fries to his order. He hated choosing between fries and onion rings and figured why not splurge and get both. He had had a few dollars on him, and even though it wouldn't last long he wasn't going to pinch pennies quite yet. He was used to getting by with nothing, after all, and living on the streets. He figured that was what he was going to have to do here.
"There's nothing like a good burger. I really hope it's a good burger. Diners usually have good food, though." So he wasn't terribly worried. Maybe only a little. He wasn't picky, though. As long as it wasn't like a McDonalds burger or something, it would be fine.
