Peter nodded, yeah it was definitely for the good of the town - just like the rest of it that any of them had to do at some point, taking little things here and there, coffee beans, materials, the things they'd need to be able to create some sort of sustainable life here, even if it was just temporary. "I think borrowing is the right way to look at it, you know like the universe or whatever borrowed us here to this place, we're borrowing what we need until we get spit back out where we belong."
Well Peter wasn't sure that he had it right, why he thought he was here, but it made sense, followed that he'd end up here because of Fisk's particle accelerator. "Uh well, right before this I was pulled into an alternate dimension." He admitted slowly, "With a couple of different Spider-people and reopen the portal to send us all back to our own home dimensions, I was the last one to go through, and instead of ending up back home I found myself here." He shrugged, so it wasn't really a definitive reason, but the line of causality was there in his mind. "As far as Thanos though, I mean we dealt with him already, he's old news so the thought that he's found his way back and beyond that pulled people out of different universes into one place for what purpose exactly? To play house and turn us all into petty thieves so we can survive? It doesn't make any sense." Maybe they all just had their own reasons for ending up here, Peter wasn't sure, this wasn't really his sort of thing.
"Best seat in the city," He agreed, it had been nice - he hadn't done it in a long while but it was the sort of thing he thought maybe he'd have been happy getting back to at some point. You know if he ever made it home. New York was home, it was comfortable and being able to be high like that and look over everything and know that it was safe thanks in part to him, well that was the sort of thing that Peter loved.
He nodded, "Not quite, I've never walked so much in my life." It probably wasn't true, but it was a little limiting being in a place like this, the webs we meant for a city, for buildings that stretched up toward the sky, not these admittedly little cute houses. "Do you want to get up there?" He wondered.
