Peter | Kate :: Coffee
"Well," He paused and considered it, maybe she was right - it was all Spider-Men, and Spider-Women, "I mean maybe? But it's hard going from being the one and only to finding out that there's an entire multiverse of other people living your life out there." It wasn't something you gave up easily or quickly, or willingly for that matter. So maybe he just had to share it with far more Spider-people than he'd realized initially, he could handle that.
Peter didn't know that he totally agreed with her suggestion about Thanos, but he got where she was coming from, and honestly at this point it was as good a theory as any of them had. He didn't think that there were any good answers to be had, not while they were here, and really the how and why were less important than the answer of how they were getting home, but that wasn't something he and Kate were going to figure out right here and now.
He quirked an eyebrow at her when she teased him about being a kids movie hero. "Buzz wishes he fell with the kind of style that I do." He said finally, okay maybe not him, not this hi - but when he was younger, that version of him had some real style. He was a little more broken, so maybe Buzz could give him a run for his money, maybe not though. Why was he comparing himself to a cartoon? That was the real question.
"What if you found like.... chocolate cake though?" Peter suggested after a moment, "No wait, a large pepperoni pizza." He said wistfully, now that - that might just be better than a coffee machine, but maybe he was a little biased, he hadn't had pizza since he'd been pulled through the portal to Miles' dimension, and it was increasingly on his mind here. Maybe that said something bad about him. "I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone brings you more beans, I think we'd all be eternally grateful if they did."
His eyes went wide when she told him she was going to have another cup. "Yeah?" He asked he hadn't thought to hope but if she was offering - "I mean yeah, yeah obviously, of course I would."
