WHO: Nebula and Quill
WHAT: Meeting during the plague
WHERE: Around town
WHEN: Today

Nebula decided that illness was not something that she appreciated, though she was not in danger of losing her memory the way it had felt in the first couple of days, she was still not feeling well - the way it lingered and left her feeling weak and less capable than she was normally left her quick to anger. She had snapped at Gamora though she knew that it was not truly her sister's fault for her situation.

She needed to get out of their home for sometime, she had heard on earth that fresh air could be good for one's health, so she would see if she could find some of that sort of air. She walked slowly, trying to decide whether or not she had found the fresh air she had heard about frowning as she went.

"Quill," She called out when she caught sight of him near his home. "Where is the fresh air?" She asked him as she approached with a little more determination in her step than she had felt up to that point. "I require it."

To be fair, there was a part of Quill that didn't really disagree with that. As much as he wanted to because he was from here (well, not here, but most people here were from earth), well. Most Terrans did seem pretty dumb these days. Not their fault probably, they hadn't been to other planets yet or anything. But they were. He just gave a vague sort of shrug right along with some raised eyebrows that probably said more than words ever could.

"Hydration," he repeated, standing up a little straighter because he was a man on a mission, now. "I can do that. Green tea. Got it." COFFEE had tea, he was pretty sure. It was true, he did want to provide for Gamora, but it wasn't like he was a monster, okay. He liked Nebula well enough, and kind of thought he could get to liking her even more. "And you? What's your fave?"

While Quill was perhaps more than Nebula would have chosen in a partner or a friend, he was eager. And that might have been the sort of thing that would grate on her regularly, under the current circumstances though - it was perhaps exactly what they needed. And she knew her sister would appreciate that. It was a small thing, but Nebula wanted that for Gamora, wanted her to find those kinds of connections once more and see what she could become now.

She nodded when he made note of the green tea, that was most important. As for her - well Nebula wasn't sure about favorites. She paused to consider it for a moment, what would her favorite be? "The green tea tastes like grass." She said first, Gamora might like it, but Nebula did not think it was as good as her sister thought it was. "The tea called chai is better. I like that kind."

Yeah, he was eager. And even before now, back when things had been normal he'd been pretty attentive on top of being overly chatty. He couldn't help it, the feeling like he needed to fill the spaces of silence with extra. Or to just remind people he was still there. Whatever. It was what it was.

"It does taste like grass," he admitted a little ruefully. "And most the rest tastes like... more boring hot water. But if it's what you want." Quill would get it for them and not question their obviously wrong judgement (even though it was obviously wrong). "I can do chai. Probably. Yeah. I'll find some." He paused, considering. "And you know. It might be better if you enjoyed the stupidly named fresh air while sitting on your porch?"

"Sometimes boring hot water is exactly what is required." She did think he might be right about the hot water part of his estimation about tea - but she would not say as much. That they agreed about green tea tasting like grass was enough for now. That and his agreement that he'd find tea for her as well in her chosen flavor.

She was surprised when he suggested she enjoy the fresh air on her porch but nodded. "Yes." She decided after a moment, that would be better, she was tired and she didn't want to continue wandering around the town for something that clearly did not exist in the way she had imagined it. "It will be better." And with that she turned on her heel and made her way back to her own porch where she could maintain her fresh air pretense and rest some as well.
