It was odd to touch her like that, a hand on her head, but she'd seen the Terrans do it and Nebula felt warm just like she did. It was still odd to be near to her and to touch her and not have her react in violence, odd but everything Gamora had hoped that they could be again one day. As little girls they'd held hands when Thanos hadn't been looking and Gamora had been trying ever since to get back there.
She understood, Gamora was also too tired to kill them and she sighed. Not that she actually would, but it was nice to think about and she knew it would cheer up her sister. Nebula leaned her head down against her and even though she was sick, or maybe especially because she was it felt damn nice, like a touch from her mother had once upon a time.
"When we feel better everyone will be punished," she said and he sore throat throbbed in agreement. "What is it you do when you're sick?" Gamora asked because honestly she had no idea.
