Gwen let him take her hand and examine it. She didn't like looking at it. And she didn't want to lose her powers. "It isn't supposed to happen but I think it is," she said, even though she didn't want to believe it. "My Spider Sense should be going off like crazy right now warning me something's wrong with me." Anytime she got hurt and was trying to ignore it there was always that stupid sense in her head saying 'HEY, LISTEN' like that stupid fairy in the Zelda game Peter had shown her how to play back home. Gwen never listened to the fairy in the game, but she'd always likened her Spider Sense to that, and it was a bittersweet memory now.
She didn't know if this was going to run its course and be done or if this was going to be ongoing but it really just needed to stop. If she could just stop shivering, that'd be a great start. It was exhausting to shake so much and not be able to physically stop. She didn't know how to explain what it felt like to be both freezing and burning from the inside out at the same time but that was definitely what was going on in her body. Mr. Stark said she was going to be okay. She had to believe him. She trusted him implicitly. If he said this would be fine, then it would be. "Mr. Stark? Are you feeling sick? Are you okay?"
