John/Kitty
She did laugh when he flexed for her, and then she reached out to feel the muscle in his arm before she shrugged, "I don't know, doesn't feel very American to me." She shook her head before she was flexing next, "I mean not when you consider this kind of firepower." She teased with a laugh showing off her own arms, because maybe she wasn't quite as built as say Captain America, but she could throw a pretty mean punch when she had to.
"And when are we going to be able to look forward to this holiday?" She asked as she promised her more pie and fun and fireworks, bigger fireworks. "Because if it's soon I want a little time to prepare myself for the spectacle of it all."
Teasing him about behaving was one of Kitty's favorite things, because really he had behaved very well for the most part since she'd arrived, there had been a few moments when maybe his temper had gotten the better of him. And of course their trip through the door into a nightmare world had been something else, but other than that? He'd been positively sweet for the most part. So her teasing was mostly just that, teasing.
Her smiled ticked up just a little when he suggested maybe she'd have to keep him distracted if she wanted the murder chances lowered to zero for the rest of the night. She closed her eyes tipping her head to one side as his lips brushed against her skin enjoying the brush of his lips against her before she nodded. "Oh I think I've got a few ideas in mind to keep you distracted." She promised. "You're not even going to be able to remember the fireworks tomorrow."
