It was weird the way Steve was both at the same time familiar and not, he was just so very Steve that of course Tony knew him, of course he could talk to him, and at the same time he knew that he wasn't his Steve so it made things different, there was a sort of line there that Tony knew would never be crossed so it took some of the pressure off, sure he was still himself, still embarrassed himself more than he'd like but it didn't have the same weight it did when it was his Steve he was making himself a fool in front of.
He ducked his head when Steve suggested his Steve showing him around the ring, not that he'd turn down the chance of course, he just wasn't sure Steve would be about it. "Maybe," He agreed rubbing the back of his neck as he glanced up at Steve again, no doubt flushing more than he'd like at the less than subtle reminder that Steve was only too aware of his feelings when he couldn't seem to get them out around the one person he should be telling.
Perking up a little when Steve suggested maybe they could go a few rounds too, Tony couldn't help but nod. "I mean if that'd be okay? I'm not like - you know, I'm not quite as good out of the suit." Sure he was many things out of the suit, he was a genius, he could find ways around certain situations, but he didn't have the power to back up any kind of hits the way Steve did, either version of him.
