Ben didn't know if the world was changing, not really, so much as going back to how it might have been if he had not met an -- untimely sort of ending, he supposed (He didn't think about that much, not in detail). Although it was different now than it probably would have been had he lived. Probably, like all the rest of them, Ben would have moved out and away and dome something differently with his life. He probably would have managed it just as poorly as the rest of them. He wouldn't have been at Klaus' side for everything.
It was a thought Ben didn't care for.
"Maybe," he said, frowning up at the ceiling. "Seems a little more complicated than alcohol, you know. You can't just order up different -- uh. You can't get it at a bar." That wasn't true. Klaus had taken plenty of people home from bars. Ben didn't want that though, and that much was probably obvious from the way they were tangled together. "And what's that even mean? French toast?"
