Just as he had afforded her silence, and focus, Leia offered the same in return; not that she’s entirely sure what to make of it all. Her expression isn’t blank, but reactive to his words, as his story unfolds brows furrowed; gaze narrowed as she learns of what he can remember earliest in his lifetime, training under Vader, for all intents and purposes it came across as if he was a child in Vader’s ‘care’. For a moment it made her wonder what that meant exactly - however she knew Padme had died shortly after her birth.
His trail of destruction was every bit as gruesome as Leia could expect of Vader’s student, her gaze turning stony; but the detail he gives her speaks of indoctrination - to be raised to fight and in fear of one’s life, knowing nothing else. But still- what he did? Leia thought boast behind them had lessened, but she might well have imagined it.
She'd been given missions too, in the name of the Rebel Alliance in her teenage years. But she'd been offered a choice in the matter, along with being raised the a grounded sense of right and wrong.
It’s a lot to absorb, to consider or understand and almost reflexively she stood from her chair as he did, watching him with something rather less cold about her, but the shock of what she’d been told hadn't faded entirely.
“How do you plan to find them?” She asked before he could close the door behind him, uncertain if he’ll bother lingering to say anything further.
