Leia hesitated, it wasn’t as if most people here weren’t aware where others resided, and those from her world, were all nearby one another. But the fact she didn’t jump to respond was confirmation that she was neither comfortable with him in her home, or walking into his. She really didn’t think she had an adequate grasp of who this Starkiller truly was, yet. Not enough to completely trust him anyway; had he truly lost his sense of purpose with no master to dictate it? Purposelessness could be far more dangerous and she already knew he was volatile.
“It’s- not my home.” Leia dismissed idly, her tone wasn’t short, more tired; it was where she lived, and at least her blaster was there, and the motion made as she resumed walking to the house, indicated she accepted him following.
When they arrived she opened the door to him - like most it was sparse, but she offered him a seat at the table that usually served to eat at, and she sat opposite, her hands resting on the table, her eyes catching his, but occasionally moving about the room. A few personal effects were about. There was still a coiled sort of tension about her, an air of mistrust in her ‘guest’ as she sat.
“The Empire built the Death Star, a planet destroyer- expecting the galaxy would submit.” She went on, but was certain to remain vague or, lacking to detail on names, certain key factors or perhaps how they were accomplished - not that she truly suspected he could ever use this information - but, she still hadn’t quite accepted her life here, or settled from the duties of war, and what if somehow; he did?
She spoke of the Alliance to restore the republic, Alderaan’s fate - and that of the Death Star too. The time that followed in some detail; the decisive land battle on Endor. How just weeks before she’d been brought here, the Empire’s second Death Star was in ruins, which Palpatine and Vader and been upon when it was destroyed. They were on the cusp of peace, and the New Republic.
“As I said. I don’t know your place in all of this-” She leaned back in her chair slowly, letting out a small sigh. "I crossed paths with Vader more than once." More than she'd ever wanted to.
