Clint & Natasha
Next year sounded just as good as this year, if he was being honest. Clint liked the whole get together vibe of tonight and was glad for it, but maybe he'd be just as glad to just spend the time with his two most favorite people. "You know, I think I did get that. I've heard it anyway. Crazy, right?" He winked, and it wasn't a great look on him, just silly really. "There is a Blade Runner 2, you know. It came out recently. I wish it'd been called Blade Harder. Or... Blade Runner 2: Electric Boogaloo."
But then she was staring at him and it was -- man, what a look it was. It made him bite at his lower lip and duck his head down because he didn't get looks like that. Not really, at least he never really had before now and it was just -
Humbling, in a way. It felt big and important. More big and important than he was used to being.
"Hi," he said, because when all else failed, offer a greeting even in the middle of a conversation. That sort of thing worked, it was Clint tested. "I love you too. Obviously. So. ...You're welcome?" Listen, he'd never been thanked for that before. That was new.
